Narrative

The contact's fiance owned a 2023 Harley-Davidson Sportster. The contact stated that while her fiance was driving at 25 MPH, the motorcycle drove over some gravel and then slid to the left side of the road. The triple tree on the front wheel and handlebars fractured and detached, sending the contact and her fiance flying off the motorcycle. The contact suffered from lower back pain, and her fiance suffered from right hip injuries. Medical attention was received. No police report was filed. A bystander towed the motorcycle to the contact's mother's residence, where it was deemed totaled by the insurance company. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 1,836.
