The contact owned a 2022 Ford F-550. The contact stated that while driving 20 MPH, the vehicle started smoking and flames came from the left side of the engine. The vehicle inadvertently veered to the right of the road. In addition, the contact noticed smoke and flames were coming from the front passengerâs side and the rear of the vehicle. As a result, of the fire the contact sustained smoke inhalation that required medical attention. The Fire Department extinguished the fire. The contact was unaware of a Police report being filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 20,000.
