The contact owns a 1994 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while his vehicle was parked in his garage, he heard several loud bangs emitting from the garage. Upon inspection, the contact discovered that the vehicle had reversed and crashed into the garage door while parked. The contact did not file a police report and no injuries were reported. The contact inspected the vehicle and discovered that the rear bumper was damaged; the vehicle was taken to an independent body shop where the bumper was replaced. The contact recently discovered that the vehicle was under NHTSA Campaign Number: 00V349000 (Parking Brakes) which was linked to the failure.
