The contact owned a 2007 Ford F-150. The contact stated that when depressing the accelerator pedal while in reverse, the vehicle suddenly accelerated, crossing a field, and crashing into a nearby building, where the vehicle came to a stop. The contact sustained neck injuries, and the front passenger sustained neck injuries as well. The contact did not seek medical attention; however, they intended to do so in the future. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The rear end of the vehicle was damaged. The vehicle was driven home. The vehicle was taken to Collision Center who diagnosed that the rear of the vehicle needed extensive bodywork and determined the vehicle was totaled.
