Narrative

The contact owns a 1968 Honda Trail 90. The contact stated the classic motorcycle was being operated at an event. While making a left turn, the throttle cable became entangled with the plastic bolt head cover of the front suspension fork of the motorcycle, causing the engine to rev very high. During the failure, the contact lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into the pavement. During crash, the contact sustained severe abrasions to the left knee and arm, which required medical treatment. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer was not contacted regarding the failure. The VIN was invalid. The failure mileage was 724.
