The rear passenger side tire blew out while I was driving on the freeway two day after I had 4 new tires installed. I have retained the tire for inspection. My safety was put at risk because I lost control of the vehicle because of the blowout and hit the middle divider on the freeway. Others were put at risk because my car swerved across two lanes of traffic before stopping at the middle divider. I have reported the blowout to Costco Tire Center where I had the tires initially installed. The component has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others. There were no warning lamps or messages. Prior to failure I did hear the sound of some kind of wind resistance and my steering wheel shaking prior to losing control of the vehicle. P165/65R14
