The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that the back-over prevention camera would black out intermittently. The failure had become more persistent over time and would fail whenever in reverse. While reversing out of a parking space, the back-over prevention camera displayed a black screen. The contact continued in reverse, and another vehicle ended up hitting the vehicle in the center of the rear bumper. The crash caused damage to the other vehicle's front bumper.
