The contact owned a 2007 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while driving at 45 MPH, occupied with her daughter, she noticed black smoke was coming from the driver and passenger side vents in the vehicle. No warning light illuminated. The contact mentioned a bystander noticed black smoke and called 911 on the scene. The contact also mentioned that after she and her daughter exited the vehicle, the vehicle independently exploded and caught fire, and flames ignited from the engine. No Medical attention. The fire department extinguished the fire. The vehicle was towed to Ed's Towing. The contact file was a police report; it has not been completed and was unknown at this time.
