The contact owns a 2013 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon shifting to Reverse(R), the vehicle hesitated to respond, made an abnormal loud sound as if it had been rear-ended, and the vehicle shifted into gear violently, causing the driver to sustain neck pain. Additionally, the contact stated that while driving and depressing the brake pedal to come to a stop, the vehicle unintendedly downshifted, and upon depressing the accelerator pedal to resume driving, the vehicle delayed responding. The contact stated that the failure had been recurring intermittently. The power train warning light was illuminated intermittently.
