2024 VOLKSWAGEN GTI — FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

The component that is failing is the infotainment center. Cruise control fails. Yes available for inspection. The safety of my car is compromised and puts myself and others at risk. The backup camera fails - the infotainment center is glitchy, the infotainment center will disconnect from phone calls while driving handsfree while plugged in via wired CarPlay (the car cannot do bluetooth for CarPlay). The infotainment center sometimes is completely unusable - including radio- directions for CarPlay are not usable - no sound from the radio - no ability to adjust car settings when its in failure mode - including parking controls - driving modes - temputratre controls. The lights are hit and miss - sometimes they won't come when pressed or sometimes won't go off when they are pressed to go off. The problems according to the dealer cannot be reproduced - even though I have videos of the issues. When there is an error code on the vehicle and I have taken it in they say that there are no codes - which is a sing to me that the car is malfunctioning as they say the codes should be there. The vehicle for two days this year would make the information call repeatedly and did this roughly 100 times in two days. It finally stopped the day I went to take it in to the dealer. The dealer replaced the radio after my first week due to infotainment and backup camera issues. The dealer replaced it with a recalled part and it is recorded in my Repair Orders (ROs).
