WERE STOPPED TO MAKE A LEFT TURN INTO THEIR DRIVEWAY WITH TURN SIGNAL ON--WHEN THEY WERE REAR-ENDED BY A PICKUP TRUCK AS A RESULT THE SEATS BROKE AND THEY BOTH HAD BROKEN NECKS--EMERT PASSED AWAY 3 DAYS LATER AND MOM DIES 14 MONTHS LATER
