Narrative

An employee suffered an amputation of the tip of his thumb while assisting in rolling metal into a power roller machine. The employee reached back to get a better hold on the material when his thumb got too close to the rolls. His thumb was caught between a roll and the metal. The second employee backed the rolls up to release the thumb.
