An employee was moving the head of a welding machine from one stiffener fitter machine to another. He put his right hand on top of the head to slide it down to the next stiffener. His hand slipped off and landed on the plate that the head rolls on. His right middle finger landed above the hole that is inside the plate, and the head rolled over his fingertip.
