A project superintendent was walking on a mezzanine made of a series of steel joists with sheets of plywood used for decking. The employee fell through an unguarded area of the mezzanine, through the mezzanine floor and into an office below, where he hit his head on a desk. The employee was transported to an area hospital where he was admitted.
