Narrative

A maintenance employee was getting a glass to rinse out his mouth after having some coffee. He immediately noticed the water tasted funny and spit out the water. A chemical sanitizer, pH+, used in the facility had back-flowed into the potable water lines and contaminated the drinking water. The employee's lips, inside of the mouth, and tongue were burned.
