Narrative

A cold saw operator received an amputation to his right pinky fingertip (distal phalanx fracture). He placed a brass bar on top of the machine. The bar was grabbed by the saw blade and pulled into the machine. The employee grabbed the end of the bar to pull it out while the machine was running, pinching his finger between the bar and a vise.
