Narrative

The heat treat/batch furnace operator had latched the batch furnace carriage with a bar and was moving the carriage to the furnace. The carriage jumped on the track and the latch came loose pushing the bar towards the operator pinning the left hand pinky finger between the bar and the nearby handrail.
