Narrative

An employee attached a chain sling to an engine and was removing engine parts with a pneumatic tool. The vibration from the pneumatic tools caused the chain sling to slip, and the engine fell about 6 inches onto the drain table. The employee's left hand was crushed between the engine and drain table, requiring surgery.
