Narrative

On December 12, 2015, at approximately 12:45 am, an employee was washing a paving machine with a water hose. The employee moved in close to wash behind the auger that was slowly spinning. The auger caught the employee's vest pulling him into the machine and turning him onto his back. At that time, another employee was able to shut off the machine. The employee suffered a dislocated left hip, a left knee strain and a left arm abrasion.
