Narrative

An employee was participating in annual emergency egress aircraft training. The toe of the employee's left boot caught the top portion of the inflated slide, causing the employee's leg to bend slightly at the knee. As the employee landed on the emergency egress slide, the left leg became wedged under the body and twisted. The employee's left leg and foot were fractured, requiring hospitalization.
