An employee got out of an elevated bucket to perform work (he was wearing a fall protection arrest system). When the employee got back into the bucket, he put his hand on the top railing of the bucket. When all of his weight transferred into the bucket, the bucket bounced a bit and his left ring finger was pinched between the railing and the wire tray of the bucket, amputating his fingertip.
