An employee was moving a 1,300-pound steel skeleton off the plasma table with an overhead crane. The employee set the work piece down on the ground and was trying to manually push it toward the scrap pile. The material shifted and tipped over, striking and pinning the employee between the work piece and a stationary toolbox. The employee suffered fractured ribs and a fractured sternum, requiring hospitalization.
