Narrative

Two company employees were in charge of traffic control/flagging operations on both ends of a street paving operation. One of the employees stopped vehicle #1 in the oncoming lane. Vehicle #2 then rear-ended vehicle #1, which in turn struck the employee. The employee was thrown approximately 30 feet and was hospitalized to receive head and elbow stitches.
