Narrative

After repairing a diesel truck, an employee climbed off the truck and stepped on the battery box. The lid on the battery box was unsecured, causing the employee to fall 2 to 3 feet onto the concrete floor below. He also struck the battery box during the fall. He fractured several vertebrae and a left rib.
