Narrative

Employees were re-positioning a boiler's mill liner on a pallet. There were three boiler mill liners laying side by side on the pallet. As the employees were re-positioning the liner to the pallet, the mill liner shifted and the employee' right ring finger got caught between two boiler mill liners, resulting in the amputation of his right ring fingertip and a laceration to his right index finger. The employee was hospitalized.
