Fractures

The power had gone out in the community that morning and was expected to be out for several hours. The injured employee was collating materials for an upcoming class. The injured employee asked another employee to help her sort through boxes of materials in the storeroom. There was an emergency light on in the storeroom and the co-worker grabbed a large flashlight to add additional light. As they were sorting through the boxes, the injured employee stepped out of the lit area and fell over a piece of equipment suffering a strained back and fractured pelvis.
