Narrative

On April 13, 2017, an employee suffered a fracture of his right femur after he was struck by a displaced railroad rail while performing cutting operations. The rail was hoisted via backhoe grapple while being cut by the injured employee. As the employee was making the cut the rail fractured, striking the employee in the leg.
