Narrative

An employee was helping a coworker set a dock plate. The coworker went to pull the rear dock plate spring as the employee was pulling the front spring. The dock plate sprung up and the employee's right ring finger was caught in the pinch point between the dock plate and the plate flap, amputating the finger below the first knuckle.
