On June 5, 2017, an employee was picking up end pieces of lumber behind a 16-inch double-end trim saw and throwing them onto a conveyor that leads to a grinder when the employee's hand contacted the bottom side of the saw blade. The blade cut his pinky finger, which had to be surgically amputated.
