Narrative

An employee was opening the first of two plug valves on a blow-down line when a threaded nipple on the de-sander dislodged, causing the iron with the plug valves to strike him. He suffered a 2-inch laceration to the left knee, a small face laceration, a torn MCL in the right knee, and right shoulder tenderness.
