Narrative

An employee was standing up from a crouched position and put his left hand on the upper part of a hinged window. While the employee was standing, the hinged window closed on the employee's left ring finger removing the finger nail, skin below the finger nail and a small portion of bone resulting in amputation to that portion of the finger.
