Narrative

On 7/13/17, an employee changed out the back-up rolls at a tandem when he noticed a leak in a pipe and stepped inside the pit. His foot slipped and he fell, striking his head against the track rail that is used to move the back-up rolls. He suffered fractured ribs, fractured vertebrae, and head lacerations.
