Narrative

An employee was reassembling food processing equipment after cleaning it. As the employee was positioning the auger screw in the auger screw housing, a coworker pushed the end of the auger screw into the housing, causing the employee's right hand to be pinned between the auger screw and the auger housing. The employee's index and middle fingertips were amputated.
