On August 11, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., an employee was changing out a residential electrical meter. He performed a line-to-line voltage check and then proceeded with the change-out. When he hooked up the jumper cables, an arc flash occurred, causing second degree burns to his right hand. He was hospitalized.
