Narrative

An employee was blowing zinc as pipe material was being raised from a kettle when the wire rope holding the pipe material broke. The material fell into the kettle, splashing zinc on the employee, who suffered second and third degree burns to the neck, arm, shoulder, and head. The employee was hospitalized.
