Narrative

An employee was counting 2-inch by 4-inch boards of lumber on a table when he lost his balance and grabbed a drive chain to catch himself. The chain caught his glove, causing his left hand to be caught between the drive chain and sprocket. His left-hand fingers suffered avulsions and fractures, requiring hospitalization. The chain was unguarded at the time.
