Narrative

An employee was starting to ventilate a tractor trailer tanker. Anhydrous ammonia vapors were to be ventilated before filling the tanker with propane. When the employee started to hook up the fan, leftover liquid anhydrous ammonia in the lines splashed him and caused first and third degree chemical burns.
