An employee was attempting to unload panelized walls from a flatbed semitrailer. He was using a pry bar to separate the wall panels when the pry bar slipped out, causing the employee to fall backwards from the semitrailer. The employee struck the ground, suffering fractured neck vertebrae, a concussion, and bleeding from the mouth and ears.
