Fractures

After refueling and boarding a bus, an employee placed items into her purse, which was on top of the first seat of the bus, and decided to exit the bus to visually confirm that the fuel cap was secure. As she turned and made her way to the stairway, her right foot caught the corner of the cushioned partition that blocks the first seat from the stairway, causing her body to twist while simultaneously falling. She fractured her right ankle, requiring hospitalization and surgery.
