Narrative

On June 6, 2018, the injured employee was assisting in rigging up a load of tubing blocks. The equipment operator lowered the rig to pick up tubing blocks. The injured employee's hand was leaning on the blocks and when the load began to lift the injured employee's right ring finger became caught between the blocks and the chain/rig floor amputating it to the first knuckle.
