Narrative

An employee was attempting to retrieve a piece of strap lumber from the edger un-scrambler machine when his left gloved hand came into contact with the end rolls' drive chain and sprocket. As a result, he sustained an amputation of the left ring finger, partial amputation of the left pinky finger, and laceration of the left middle finger.
