Narrative

An employee was rigging a 6-foot bundle of steel to be hoisted off a roof, approximately 105 feet high, with a crane. When the crane lifted the bundle off the roof, the employee's hand was caught in the wire rope sling. He suffered an amputation to the left index finger.
