Narrative

An employee was on the third step of an A-frame 6-foot ladder in the galley kitchen removing a long fluorescent light cover when he lost his balance and fell on a 30-inch-tall, 30-inch-wide steam kettle that was half full of 200 degree Fahrenheit water. This resulted in second and third degree burns to his right calf and right lower part of his arm and hand. He was hospitalized.
