An employee was operating a scissor lift to offload a customer's trailer when the scissor lift lost traction on the trailer and slid down the trailer bed before tipping over and throwing the employee from the lift. The employee attempted to catch his fall with his arms, resulting in a broken right wrist and two broken right fingers.
