Narrative

An employee was using a 6-ft. self-supporting fiberglass ladder to remove light fixtures. He was working from the top step when the ladder kicked out from under him and he fell approximately 5 ft. to the ground. The employee sustained a fractured left ankle and a compressed L-4 vertebra disk.
