Narrative

An employee was stacking beams in a yard. A 10-by-4-by-6 block was in the middle of the pile. He lifted the end of the bundle of beams and got off his lift to pull the block out. The block twisted and its weight caught the tip of his finger on the flange, amputating the fingertip. He was hospitalized.
