Narrative

An employee was exercising and riding a horse for guest rides when a deer jumped out from behind garbage cans. The horse reacted to the deer, moving quickly or bucking. The employee was thrown to the ground, where the horse may have stepped on the employee. The employee suffered a right calf injury with swelling.
