Narrative

An employee was working on a scaffold 3 feet off the ground when the employee lost footing and slipped, causing the employee's arm to come down onto the frame of the scaffold. The underside of the employee's arm caught the scaffold pin, causing a 3- to 4-inch laceration that required sutures and hospitalization.
