Narrative

An employee was preparing to transfer hydrofluoric acid. A transfer pump motor/gear needed repair in order to transfer the hydrofluoric acid. The employee removed the pump, made the repair, and returned to reassemble the pump. The employee was splashed by hydrofluoric acid and sustained chemical burns to the torso.
