Narrative

An employee was lifting an auger out of a metal cylindrical screen to clean meat residue off the auger when it slipped from his hand. The fourth finger on his left hand was then pinched between the auger he was lifting and the screen that was resting on the floor, resulting in a distal fingertip amputation.
